The Streetly Tapes Vol 3

The Streetly Tapes Vol 3

$49.99

Curated from the Streetly archives by the man who keeps them.

Martin Smith chose 26 banks from the original UK ‘Tron masters and recorded every one through the Skellotron, a bare-bones M400 built to align each tape head by hand.

The Watcher Mix Genesis used the MkII Brass of King Crimson, Bill Fransen’s midnight piano, and 150+ patches from Nick Magnus and Matt Berry.

Mellotron® Originals

The M-Tron Pro virtual instrument is a remarkable emulation of the classic Mellotron—the unique tape-playback keyboard made famous by luminaries such as The Beatles, Yes, Led Zeppelin, and The Moody Blues.

The 3.5GB sound library features nearly 200 tape banks (sample sets), including those from the M-Tron, 19 of which have been remastered at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios, resulting in a warmer tone than the originals.

M-Tron Pro also delivers 45 brand-new tape banks and over 700 patches, many created by world-class recording artists and programmers. Utilise the patches or open the lid to access the G: sampler’s easy editing controls for layers, splits, reverse, half-speed, and much more. Use it in standalone mode (Mac/PC) or as a plug-in for most popular host applications.
