The Real Prophet~5 Experience.

Sequential has partnered with GForce Software to create the first-ever official Prophet~5 software instrument, honouring the sound, feel and character of the original. It brings together Sequential’s place in the history of analog synthesis and our long-standing experience crafting expressive, authentic, virtual instruments.

Every Rev In One Instrument.

Across the Rev1, Rev2, and Rev3 character models, the Prophet~5 plugin delivers the tone, response, and musicality that made the original instrument so sought-after, from the warmth of the SSM designs to the punch and presence of the Curtis filter.

A Full Effects Section.

To complete the experience, Prophet~5 includes a suite of premium studio effects. Two selectable FX slots (Chorus, Phaser, Filter, Distortion, Tremolo, Compressor) plus dedicated Delay, Reverb and Pan Spread.

A detailed technical exploration

A synth that created moments is now ready to create new ones.

Original Spirit, New Expression.

At its core, this is the Prophet~5 Sequential shipped in 1978: Rev1, Rev2 and Rev3 character models, the warmth of the SSM filters and the punch of the Curtis, every original hardware function and all 38 factory patches, honoured in software by the people who own the name.

Around that core is an instrument the original could never be. Two independent layers with Layer, Split and Alternate modes, an arpeggiator and chord mode for each, newly redesigned X-Modifiers giving almost every parameter its own envelope and LFO, full MPE and MIDI CC control, and a suite of premium studio effects. A synth that created moments is now ready to create new ones.
