Inspired by the radical spirit of Serge©, Buchla© and 1970s modular synthesis, MAP is a sonic playground for the curious, pairing shimmering oscillations and rich modulation with characterful effects that reward exploration.

More than 300 expertly designed presets, plus separate preset libraries for the oscillators, filters, LFOs and effects.

Expression That Plays Like Hardware

Expression That Plays Like Hardware

Full MPE support, performative XY Pad macros on the oscillator and filter sections, and a modulation system that responds to every gesture.

A Real Modular Experience.

Don Buchla and Serge Tcherepnin treated the synthesiser as a system for discovery, and Morton Subotnick and Suzanne Ciani built careers on what that approach could do. MAP is not modular in the patch-cable sense. It is deeper and much faster than that. Every destination is already wired to every source, with an attenuverter and inverter almost everywhere. Select a parameter, move a fader in the Modulation window, and move on. No setup, no patching, no slowdown

A Real Modular Experience.

Complex Oscillators, Simple Inspiration.

Three unique oscillators, including a dedicated modulation oscillator, with waveshaping and FM in the West Coast tradition. Twist amplitude, frequency and waveshape into new forms, add a nine-type noise source for grit and atmosphere, and you have raw sonic clay.

Two Filters, Any Order.

A five-band resonant EQ and a versatile multimode filter, run in series or parallel. Both sections come with interchangeable presets and fresh XY Pad macros, so a single gesture can take a patch from subtle shimmer to chaotic eruption.

Movement Everywhere.

Three looping envelopes, three drawable LFOs, a noise-powered random LFO and full MPE give every sound organic unpredictability. A generative polyphonic arpeggiator sparks instant melodic ideas, and a clean modulation matrix keeps the wildest patches under control.

Movement Everywhere.

Colour, Time and Space.

Three effects that are extensions of the instrument rather than polish. Colour splits, sculpts or devastates your frequencies. Time is a flexible quad delay that reshapes rhythm. Space is an ocean of grains and reverb for immersion and vastness.

“

MAP isn’t about presets, it’s about exploration. We wanted to create an instrument that feels alive under your fingertips, where every movement opens a new path.
