Combine any two instruments with dual layer and split keyboard operation. Recreate the golden string tones of yesteryear in seconds, or fuse a 1970s Italian ensemble with a Japanese polysynth pad into a hybrid made exclusively possible by VSM.
Age It To Taste.
New Wow and Flutter with an Instability control augment the organic imperfections that give these instruments their charm. Smudge, age and chew up the sound as far as you like.
Shape The Sound.
A new state variable filter alongside the original, a three-band EQ, and an LFO with shaping and destinations for Pitch, Filter, Pan and Level.
A Full Effects Section.
Vintage-style Ensemble and Phaser, a second rich Ensemble, a warm analog-style Chorus and a Matrix Reverb, each with its own lock so your favourite settings survive a patch change. Undo, Redo, Copy and Paste keep editing fast.
What might, on the surface, appear to be a splendidly capable string machine is indeed far more than that.
Drawing upon a generously wide range of sample sources and the ability to smudge, age and chew up the sound with tape emulation, filters, modulation and LFOs, it can also offer up otherworldly cinematic soundscapes, rhythmic beasts, nightmarish ambience and regal elegance.

Around that core is a modern instrument. Two layers, ageing controls, a second filter, EQ, chorus, ensemble and reverb, LFO shaping, Poly Aftertouch and Pitchbend, powerful browsers and over 1900 presets. Your existing VSM presets carry straight over.
