Retrocraft is UJAM’s all-in-one retro effects plugin. It runs your sound through three vintage stages: an Amplifier (tube or transistor), a Player (cassette or vinyl) and a Speaker (megaphone or telephone), then hands it to six effect modules: Lo-Fi, Modulation, Instability, Delay, Reverb and Chop. Sixty-two algorithms, 150 presets, and a Surprise dice for when you’d rather be led than lead.
Most retro plugins do one thing. A tape emulator, a bitcrusher, a vinyl simulator. Retrocraft does the whole chain, so you don’t have to stack five plugins to get one finished sound.
Analogue gear chain: Amplifier (tube, transistor), Player (cassette, vinyl), Speaker (megaphone, telephone)
Six effect modules: Lo-Fi, Modulation, Instability, Delay, Reverb, Chop
Six variants per module, 62 algorithms in total
150 presets in categories including Aging, Vocals, Retro Gear and Glitchy
Surprise dice for instant new presets, with undo
Works on vocals, drums, synths, piano, guitar, foley and full mixes
VST2, VST3, AU2 and AAX, all 64-bit. AU2 needs Logic Pro X or newer
