If you’ve visited gforcesoftware.com recently, you’ll have noticed it looks different. That’s not a glitch. Our new site is live.
We’re not shouting about it yet, and that’s deliberate. This is a soft launch. Everything works, and over the next couple of weeks we’ll watch how real users use the site before we call it official. The full story, plus a few surprises, hopefully arrives on October 20th.
Why Launch Quietly?
No amount of testing matches thousands of real people using the site. We rebuilt it from scratch, and on a project this size, some issues only show up once real users arrive.
A soft launch lets us catch those problems early. We’re closely monitoring page speed, search, checkout, and downloads, and fixing issues as we find them. If something looks odd, tell us; details on how are below.
Try the New Global Installer
Alongside the new site, we’re introducing the GForce Installer. It manages all your instruments and sounds in one place. You can install what you own, keep everything up to date and see what’s available, all from one app.
You’ll find it in My Account under My Instruments, for Mac and PC. It’s new, so we want to hear how it works on your machine. If anything trips you up, or could work better, email support@gforcesoftware.com. Every bit of feedback goes to the team refining it.
Subscribe, or Own It Outright
You can now subscribe to GForce instruments or buy them. Subscriptions are a new way to buy, and they suit you if you’d rather spread the cost or try more of the range.
There are three tiers:
- Essentials: five of our most-loved synths, OB-X, Minimonsta2, Oddity3, impOSCar3, and Prophet~5.
- Core: the full GForce synth and drum range, plus a curated set of preset and expansion packs.
- Ultimate: every GForce instrument, a selected preset pack, and tape and patch banks.
Every subscription includes updates while you subscribe, and you can cancel anytime with no lock-in.
Perpetual licences aren’t going anywhere. If you prefer to buy once and own it for good, that option will always be available.
What’s Changed?
In short: the site is faster, easier to navigate, and every product page gives you what you need to know before you buy.
- The catalogue is arranged the way you search. Synths, drum machines, Mellotron and M-Tron expansions, preset packs and bundles each have their own section. Browse by instrument, category, character, or by what you want to make.
- Product pages that do their job. Every instrument now has audio demos, a clear feature list, plugin formats, system requirements and pricing on one page. No more digging through the manual to check whether something runs as AAX.
- A new resources section. Tutorials, artist features and sound design guides now live in one place instead of being scattered across the blog and YouTube. There’s more to come.
- Built for speed and mobile browsing. Many of you research software on your phone and buy on your laptop. We designed the site for that from the start, not as an afterthought. Pages load much faster, with cleaner navigation. That was the first line of the brief.
What Hasn’t Changed
Your account, your licences and your purchase history. Everything has carried over exactly as it was.
Log in with the same email and password. Everything you own is still in your account, downloads work as they always have, and your licence keys are unchanged. You don’t need to do anything.
If you bookmarked the old site, those links now redirect to the right pages on the new one. If you find one that doesn’t, let us know. That’s exactly the feedback we want.
Found Something Broken?
If you come across anything broken, confusing or plainly wrong, email support@gforcesoftware.com with the page address and what you expected to happen. Screenshots help.
Every report goes straight to the team fixing the site and helps them decide what to tackle first.
What’s Coming On October 20th?
The website is one part of something bigger. For the first time in more than twenty years, we’re bringing everything GForce makes, from the website to the plugin interfaces to the manuals, together under a single identity. You’ve seen the first move. The rest is coming.
We’ve also lined up some exciting launches to celebrate our digital evolution, so if you’re not on our mailing list, now is a good time to join.
In the meantime, explore the new site, put it through its paces, and tell us what you think.
Thanks for your patience.
The GForce Team
