After M-Tron Pro is opened you will not be able to load Patches or Tape Banks.
This is caused by an incompatibility between M-Tron Pro and Steinberg's VST Bridge.
While we continue with development, a different 'bridge' which works is available and details for it's use are included with the download. Please take a look here:

No - you received an email with nothing in that field because you don't require a serial number. This is an error in our system which we will try to resolve.

Provided you have registered your M-Tron Pro you can download the latest version via "My Instruments" which will resolve this issue.
Additionally, to avoid a potential error stopping M-Tron Pro running download the font suitcase *HERE*, and place it in the following location (be certain to put it in your System and NOT User/LibraryFonts folder):

Before upgrading your M-Tron to M-Tron Pro please read the following information carefully.
M-Tron Pro is supplied with a 3.5Gb sample library which will be sent to all customers upgrading to M-Tron Pro. M-Tron Pro can be installed without the library but it will not work correctly until the 'M-Tron Pro Library' has been copied to your system from the DVD supplied. Please allow 14 days for delivery.
M-Tron Pro is a completely new instrument. If you have created songs or arrangements that use the existing version of M-Tron they WILL NOT automatically use M-Tron Pro when it has been installed. You must keep your existing M-Tron for these compositions. We will continue to support the existing M-Tron for the foreseeable future.
The M-Tron Pro Upgrade costs €59.00 (plus VAT if applicable).

- 1) Log in to your account via the My Account link.
- 2) Click on the Upgrades / Crossgrades link.
- 3) Click on the 'Upgrade from M-Tron to M-Tron Pro' button and follow the purchase procedure.
- 4) Once complete the latest versions of the M-Tron Pro will be allocated to your account and can be downloaded via the My Instruments link.
NB* You can install the instrument but it will not work correctly until you have received the M-Tron Pro Library via your regular postal service.
I have not registered an M-Tron to my account on this web site but I have a registration code in this format: FG87-HB3Y-ZL7J-PEPN-7R3U

- 3) Create yourself an account and when you receive your log in details via email, log in.
- 4) Link to Register Instruments and register your M-Tron. (The letters in your code should be in capitals and the - hyphens must be included).
- 5) Click on the Upgrades / Crossgrades link.
- 6) Click on the 'Upgrade from M-Tron to M-Tron Pro' button and follow the purchase procedure.
- 7) Once complete the latest versions of the M-Tron Pro will be allocated to your account and can be downloaded via the My Instruments link.

I bought M-Tron a few years ago before registration codes were issued and do not have the correct registration code.
You will be able to upgrade to M-Tron Pro provided you show us proof of your original purchase. If you bought your M-Tron second hand you will not be entitled to an upgrade to M-Tron Pro.
If you feel you are entitled to an upgrade from M-Tron to M-Tron Pro please fill in this form (click here) attaching the requested proof of purchase.
Not having an invoice does not stop you contacting us and making an application for an upgrade. We ask that you provide as much supporting evidence as you have to show that you are legitimate owner of M-Tron. We also have our GMedia records going back to 2000 which we can check if your bought directly from us. If you don't have an invoice please still fill in the application form and send us a pic of your discs adding any additional information in the 'Notes' section.
Once we have received the form and approve the upgrade an M-Tron will be allocated to your account on our web site from where you will then be able to upgrade to M-Tron Pro by following these instructions.

If M-Tron Pro crashes on launch, please download the font suitcase *HERE*, and place it in the following location (be certain to put it in your System and not User Fonts folder):

Please note*
Unfortunately, some Mac system updates will actually move the font into HD/Library/Fonts Disabled. So, if you installed the font once, then updated the Mac OS, only to have M-Tron Pro crash on launch again, simply drag the required Arial font from HD/Library/Fonts Disabled and back into HD/Library/Fonts.

When you choose the "Upgrade to M-Tron Pro (UB)" option you are buying a license for ALL versions of M-Tron Pro.
These are: PC - VST, RTAS & Standalone. Mac - VST, RTAS, AudioUnit & Standalone.
When your purchase is complete you will be able to download both Mac and PC versions via the "Download files" button found in "My Instruments"
