The making of the String Machine involved sourcing and sampling as many of the original instruments as possible. As you can imagine, with each note having to be individually sampled and then subsequently looped, the work was exhaustive.

Here’s a short video showing some of that process time-lapsed over several days. All the musical parts were provided by VSMs except the sequence line which was provided by the Minimonsta. Drums courtesy of Stylux RMX.
